Bree Colter is an LA-based fashion and beauty model represented by Freedom Models LA. Known for her elegance, grounded energy and creative spirit. Over her career, she has built a reputation for balancing the artistry and reality of modern modelling by staying true to herself. “Authenticity is everything. When you know who you are, you stop chasing what isn’t meant for you.”
Growing up surrounded by creativity, Bree first explored her love for art and design before stepping in front of the camera. From her earliest shoots to international campaigns, she has learned to view modelling as both a profession and a form of self-expression. “I see modelling as storytelling, it’s not just about how you look, it’s about what you bring to the image.”
Confidence, Creativity and Control
Bree reflects on how the industry has changed with the rise of social media and self-branding, and the pressure to curate a perfect life online. “I think people connect more with what’s real. You don’t have to post all the time – you just have to show up as yourself.
She shares how she’s built confidence through experience, resilience and perspective. “Rejection is part of the job, but it’s not personal. What’s meant for you will come – and if it doesn’t, it wasn’t yours to begin with.”

Having worked across both fashion and beauty campaigns, Bree has seen how representation has evolved, but also how far there is still to go. It’s changing slowly. You’re starting to see more individuality and different kinds of beauty being celebrated, which is amazing. But there’s still room for more truth, more honesty in what we see.”
She believes real progress comes from models and agents working together to set boundaries and champion positive change. “It’s up to us to keep pushing for representation that feels human – not filtered.”
Beyond the Camera
Away from modelling, Bree’s creativity extends into writing, painting and mentoring new talent entering the industry. “I want to help others understand that you can have boundaries and still succeed. You can be kind, professional and still make a statement.”
Her approach to work is calm, considered and collaborative. It reflects her belief that modelling today is as much about mindset as it is about image. “Professionalism and positivity travel faster than any follower count. That’s what people remember.”
Finding Balance in a Digital World
In an era of endless comparison, Bree has learned to protect her peace. “You have to know when to switch off. It’s easy to fall into the scroll, but the real work and growth happen offline.”
She shares how grounding routines, time in nature, and creative hobbies help her maintain focus and balance amid the industry’s constant motion. “The most beautiful thing you can be is present, that’s what shines through on camera.”
